Alexander’s homer provided the Diamondbacks with an early 1-0 lead.
So far this season, Alexander has exceeded expectations, boasting five hits in 11 at-bats. Originally selected by Arizona in the 11th round of the 2018 draft from IMG Academy, Blaze has quickly made his mark.
Upon rounding the bases, Alexander was greeted with the silent treatment in the Diamondbacks’ dugout.

Given Alexander’s impressive start, he could rapidly become a Rookie of the Year contender if he keeps it up.
