Nikola Jokic is famously known for having unique takes on basketball and everything surrounding the league. The star only knows how to play and get the job done on the court as he solely focuses on winning. Hence, outside the game, the reporters often get interesting answers from the two-time MVP during press conferences.
After the first second-round game between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Joker gave another unique answer in the post-game presser. Nikola Jokic hilariously talked about what the Nuggets need to do to tackle the big men of the T-Wolves.

The Nuggets are a talented team but the roster only has one big player which is the Joker. For the Timberwolves, on the other hand, there are three players above the 6’9 mark including Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Naz Reid. Jokic acknowledged the height makes the T-Wolves’ defense and rebounding better but the star was happy with his offense in the game.

Jokic’s 32 points with 44% FG were not enough for the Nuggets to win the game. But Joker is looking at the next game positively with his witty humor. The big man will certainly have better plans in the next game for the betterment of scoring.
Aaron Gordon called Nikola Jokic the taller and bigger Larry Bird
Jokic is one of the very few players who thrive on almost all sides of the court. With his incredible passing and rebounding, Joker is also a nightmare to guard during games. The player’s most unreal shots often make it to the basket effortlessly.
The former champion’s teammate Aaron Gordon also could not help but praise Jokic for his amazing skillset. During Gordon’s recent appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio, the Nuggets forward compared Jokic to the legendary Larry Bird while talking about the star’s presence on the court.

Jokic has been compared with the Boston Celtics legend a few times in the past. Bird was also known for his effortless plays and scoring abilities while giving a hard time to his opponents. However, in Jokic’s resume, his height enhances all these skills a bit more making him more dominant on the defensive side of the court.
